Beatweek.com Proves Itself to be Least Informed News Site Ever
In a recent article on Beatweek.com, "Johnny Major" has apparently fabricated his own Apple-dominating reality and then spouted it as truth.
Claiming things like the Droid and Nexus lineup of phones were flops, and the infamous Antenna-Gate issue with the iPhone 4 was a made-up, hoax-based controversy used by sales people to steer customers away from what they wanted (iPhone) to something they didn't want (Android), this article is so full of misinformation that it almost makes me think it was written as a parody. Not only is the Droid lineup of phones single-handedly responsible to catapulting Android to its #1 market share spot, but the Nexus S is currently one of the fastest phones on the planet, demolishing the iPhone 4 in every category. And the Antenna-Gate problem was so real that Apple basically said "My bad, here is a free bumper" to fix the problem. More gems such as Apple supposedly being "aggressive" in their pricing and speculation of a $99 version of the iPhone 5 at launch round out the thoroughly entertaining read.
