Archos Set to Bring Android to Home Phones
Earlier this week, Archos announced their new Archos 35 Smart Home Phone and the Archos 35 Home Connect. The 35 Smart Home Phone is actually a DECT cordless phone running Android, with full WiFi access to the Android Market for all of the apps you have come to know and love. It also includes a front facing camera for video chatting. The 35 Home Connect is a WiFi internet radio boombox of sorts that includes a built-in battery and pre-installed apps for alarm clocks, radio, and video chatting (yes there is a camera on this too).
The Archos 35 Smart Home Phone and Home Connect should be shipping this September for $159 and $149, respectively.
