Everyone knows the frustration of reading PDF files on an iPhone/Android phone. I read 4 of the 7 Harry Potter books like that, and it wasn't fun. It's even worse on the Kindle, because the refresh on the screen is measure in half seconds, not milliseconds. However, there is a new tool called Papercrop that will rebuild your PDF files to fit either your 6" Kindle screen, or your smaller mobile screen, without having to zoom and pan around every page.

The tool is free, and all you have to do is open it, pick a layout, load a PDF, and hit "Process all pages". It will then output a new PDF into the same directory as the one you loaded. It can take a little tweaking to get the layout just right for your device, but in the end it is definitely a tool for people who like to bring along their entire D&D handbook collection on their phone.
